Track 1. Developmental Psychology:

Developmental psychology is the scientific study of how and why citizenry change over the course of their life. Firstly concerned with infants and children, the field has expanded to include adolescence, adult development, aging, and the entire lifetime.

Experimental psychologists study a wide range of theoretical areas, such as biological, social, emotional, and cognitive processes. Behavioral Psychology or Behaviorism is a systematic approach to understanding the behavior of humans and other animals.[1] It assumes that behavior is either a reflex evoked by the pairing of certain antecedent stimuli in the environment, or a consequence of that individual's history, including especially reinforcement and punishment contingencies, together with the individual's current motivational state and controlling stimuli. Although behaviorists generally accept the important role of heredity in determining behavior, they focus primarily on environmental events.

Track 4. Personality Psychology:

Personality psychology is a branch of psychology that examines personality and its variation among individuals. It aims to show how people are individually different due to psychological forces. Its areas of focus include:

• construction of a coherent picture of the individual and their major psychological processes
• investigation of individual psychological differences
• investigation of human nature and psychological similarities between individuals.

The field of the psychology of women distinguishes the inequality of social and institutional power between women and men; studies women’s behavior and experiences within social upbringings across the life cycle. Patients with Somatization Disorder have a multitude of somatic complaints. This is a Chronic Syndrome of multiple somatic symptoms that cannot be explained medically & is associated with psychosocial distress &medical help-seeking.
